This year, our HFES 66th International Annual Meeting falls right in the closing of Hispanic Heritage Month.
Este año nuestra conferencia anual cae al final del mes de la celebración de Herencia Hispana en los Estados Unidos.
Join us as we celebrate the Latino community whose diverse cultures are connected through a blend of rich heritages. As we gather this week, make sure you take the time to connect, celebrate, and elevate the Latinos/Hispanics within our community.
Unete y celebra con nosotros la comunidad latina cuyas culturas están conectadas a través de una combinación de diversas herencias. Mientras nos reunimos esta semana, asegurate de tomar un tiempo para conectar, celebrar y elevar a los latinos/hispanos dentro de nuestra comunidad en HFES.
Though, we realize there is much to do to increase our membership numbers regarding underrepresented communities, especially Latinos. This month, we're excited to shine a spotlight on a few of our Latino members that have served as mentors and/or active volunteers through HFES over the years, as well as some members that just joined our community. I encourage you to check their profiles, follow them, connect with them, celebrate them, make them feel welcomed.
Aunque sabemos que hay mucho por hacer para aumentar el número de miembros Latinos/Hispanos, este mes queremos destacar a algunos de nuestros miembros latinos que han servido como mentores y/o voluntarios activos a lo largo de los años, y nuevos miembros que apenas nos encontraron.
