FPE Seeks Student for Social Media Volunteer Role
Posted May 03, 2021
The Foundation for Professional Ergonomics (FPE) has an opportunity for a student to make a difference in our profession, in the world, and potentially in your career. The mission of FPE is to provide leadership in evolving and growing the ergonomics profession; bridge gaps between research, education and practice; and promote professionalism in ergonomics practice; all for the benefit of the public. Our mission is global, and includes mentoring of students and early career professionals in the practice of Ergonomics, Human Factors, and User Experience. The Board of Directors is made up of some of the most senior members of the profession, and is looking for someone who might be able to develop and execute our social media strategy. The goal is to publicize the work of the Foundation, to build more partnerships, and to get the word out to those who might benefit. Initially it will be a volunteer position, but in addition to being a great addition to a resume and doing something important for the profession, there is an opportunity to grow a significant network of career contacts. For more information about FPE, see ergofoundation.org, and for more information about the position contact Arnie Lund at amlundjr@gmail.com.
