The IEA Informal Work Technical Committee conducts a free webinar series to share information about the nature of informal work, its relationship and implications for ergonomics and human factors (E/HF), and research occurring at the intersection of informality and E/HF around the world. The next webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025, 15:00 UTC, 11:00 US ET, is on "Informal Work in Peru and Colombia: Status, Perspectives and Challenges in Ergonomics."
This webinar organized by the IEA Informal Work TC is a continuation of our prior webinar series on ergonomics and informal work in Latin America. The most representative informal jobs from across Latin America will be addressed by prominent speakers from Peru and Colombia, and the state of ergonomics in addressing issues and future challenges in informal work will be reviewed.
Presentations will be in Spanish with English subtitles. Attendance permits live interaction with the presenters in a moderated Q&A. Registered attendees can complete a brief post-webinar survey to receive e-certificates of completion.
