Professor Wei Xu Named Fellow of the International Association for Psychological Science (APS)

Congratulations to Professor Wei Xu for being awarded APS Fellow status!
APS fellow status is awarded to APS members who have made sustained outstanding contributions to the science of psychology in the areas of research, teaching, service, and/or application. It is typically awarded for one’s scientific contributions and global influence by applying psychological science.
Dr. Xu is a Professor of Human Factors at Zhejiang University in China and a Sr. Researcher at Intel. He is an IEA Fellow and has been an HFES member since 1992. He received his Ph.D. in Psychology and an M.S. in Computer Science from Miami University in 1997. His work focuses on human-AI interaction, HCI, and aviation human factors. Representing HFES since 2013, he has been serving on the U.S. Technical Advisory Group to ISO TC159/SC4 (Human-Systems Interaction) and the ISO TC169/SC4 WG6. He co-authored ISO HF/E related standards (e.g., ISO 9241-210/220/230/810).
