Steven Clapp of the University of Central Florida informed HFES that he has successfully defended his dissertation, "A Holistic Work System Approach to Creating Flow During Transactiona
l Work" on March 31, 2023, and earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Central Florida. Congratulations, Steven! After 30 years as a process design and business performance consultant and six years as an adjunct/visiting professor of operations management an operations research, he looks forward to transitioning to a role as a full-time researcher and/or professor.
