Attention Chicagoland HFES Members

ASPIRE, the 69th HFES International Annual Meeting, will convene October 13 - 17, 2025 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Chicago, IL. Consider this invitation to apply to be part of a very important part of the meeting - the local Host Committee.  This committee will be comprised of HFES members within a 50-mile radius of downtown Chicago.

The purpose of a Host Committee is to add to the attendee experience in a variety of ways including:

• Organizing Technical Tours – visits to local organizations or institutions that could provide new views into the many ways in which HF/E is practiced in the real world
• Serving as “ambassadors” on-site
• Staffing an information table in the meeting space / providing attendees with local sightseeing and dining recommendations 

We are excited to announce the formation of a Host Committee comprising 14–16 enthusiastic individuals dedicated to creating an exceptional experience for our attendees. We are also seeking a Chair or Co-Chairs to lead the planning process, coordinate committee activities, and ensure smooth operations both before and during the event. As a token of our appreciation, the Chair(s) will receive complimentary meeting registration upon request, while general committee members will enjoy a 25% registration discount upon request.

If you're interested in serving on the ASPIRE Host Committee, please complete the application form by 5:00 PM EST on Friday, February 14. Once the committee is finalized, we’ll schedule a kick-off meeting to begin our preparations with the immediate goal to confirm technical tour venues.
