The HFES ERGO-X Symposium is returning to its roots, focusing on the topics of interest for the Ergonomic Practitioner. This one-day symposium will showcase the latest ergonomics science in workplace health, safety and injury prevention across various domains and settings.  ErgoX is designed for attendees to:

  • Gain the latest insights on procedures, tools, and approaches for on-the-job safety and wellness from world-class ergonomics and safety experts
  • Network with presenters, practitioners, and researchers
  • Make new strategic connections
  • Find solutions to pressing workplace ergonomics issues

First held in 2015 with a practitioner focus and then formalized into a user-centered design meeting in 2018, the ERGO-X Symposium will include a plenary concerning the future of disruptive and emerging technologies in applied ergonomics, a debate about the status of the science of Exoskeletons, and discussions about the economics of ergonomics, ergonomic assessment tools, office ergonomics and job rotation. A special session will walk attendees through an actual ergonomic assessment from start to finish with the development of intervention options.

Registration fee includes a luncheon.  The schedule will be posted as soon as it is available.
