Student chapters provide an excellent venue for undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students to become involved with HFES, network with mentors and potential employers and hone leadership skills.
Our local chapters are formed by HFES members in geographical locations throughout the United States, Europe, China and the Middle East for members to exchange information and ideas concerning human factors and ergonomics issues. HFES Local chapters hold meetings, publish newsletters, sponsor events and special activities, and provide annual reports and business meetings to their members, and the Society at large.
Local and student chapter leaders are required to submit reports to HFES annually (see the Resources sections on this page); however, we greatly appreciate being contacted at any time with any updates regarding chapter website URLs or chapter leaders.
